Shark Birthday Party!

When Mommy Brittany asked Happy Everything Events for help with her son, Finn's 1st birthday party, she knew she wanted it to be shark themed.

Together, we brainstormed on this Pinterest board and came up with some awesome ideas.

I had a blast creating the decor for Finn's orange and teal shark party for this awesome
family of four, who lives on the beach in California.

Shark party hats were a fun addition to the party.

The invitations let guests know what fun was to come at the party!
(I've whited out personal information.)

The straws flags, cupcake toppers and silverware wraps all displayed the party's logo
of a friendly shark.

We left the food labels blank so Brittany could write in the menu items for the party.

The favor bags featured "Thanks for swimming by" tags.

Customized bubble tins were a fun activity for the young guests.

The fun, friendly shark was also featured on the pennant banner.

Finn's party was on Saturday and Brittany sent along these fantastic photos! You can see that she did a fantastic job bringing this theme to life!

She filled the favor bags with PEZ candies and other fun treats.

The shark party hats were on display; Goldfish, always a kid favorite, were labeled "Bait"; and homemade shark shaped candies were featured in a vase of sand.

The silverware wraps and straws were displayed in orange buckets. The food table featured the "Happy Birthday, Finn" pennant banner.

"Shark teeth" (Bugles dipped in white chocolate) and the watermelon shark fruit bowl.

The birthday boy's pic in a shark frame near shark gummies; An artist neighbor helped create the shark board and guests took turns taking their picture inside the jaws!

Happy Birthday, Finn!

Little Man Cloyd Baby Shower

Hostess Michele saw our original "Little Man" Baby Shower back in April (See pics here) and when she decided to co-host a baby boy shower for her friend, Kim, she asked for this theme.

With a few modifications, we were able to completely customize this "Little Man" theme for this super fun mommy, who is having her third boy in October.
The green and blue bow ties and argyle print appeared on much of the decor,
including the pennant banner.

The invitations gave guests a sneak peak at the theme of the upcoming shower.
(Personal info has been whited out).

Coordinating food labels were preprinted with the menu items.

Bamboo silverware wraps featured the blue bow ties and "Little Man Cloyd."

"Little Man Cloyd" was the pennant banner message.

Since both Mom and Dad are from Maryland, the hostesses decided to have salt water taffy as shower favors. These favor bags and stickers kept with the theme. We also made a "Thanks for coming!" sign, explaining the favors so the hostesses could put it on display.

Huge thanks to Michele for sending along the following pictures from the shower in Charlotte on Saturday. I love the matching cake, the onesie garland and diaper cake. It looked so fabulous!

Congrats, Kim. Little Man Cloyd will be here before you know it!

Will you bridesmaid?

Happy Everything Events was thrilled to help Bridget create these customized Bridesmaid Cards. She wanted a special card to ask her favorite friends to be her bridesmaids and we had a blast putting these together for her.

Bridget, who is getting married next July in Memphis, wanted to feature her wedding colors: gray and blush. She also wanted a lace element to the card, since she's incorporating lace into many aspects of her big day.

We lined the blush envelopes with coordinating gray papers and used blush and gray font colors on the textured ivory cards.

The lace bow served as a special way to surprise the details. The bridesmaids got to untie it to learn more about Bridget's exciting day.

Birthday Crab Fest!

When Clare reached out to Happy Everything Events about helping her
with her mother's birthday crab fest in Maryland, I jumped at the chance
to make something special for Jane.

The party decor was navy, red and aqua and included crabs and adirondack chairs.

New for this party, we created wine tags.

The pennant banner said "Happy Birthday Jane"

and displayed crabs on both ends of the banner.

Two paper chain garlands featured anchors and polka dots.

The assorted drink labels had various patterns and designs with crabs and adirondacks.

The grey and white striped straws were accented with navy anchors and red crabs.

Happy Birthday, Jane. Hope the crabs were delicious!
