Happy Everything Events had a blast putting together the Baby Bean baby shower for Blair, who was hosting a gender-neutral baby shower for Nan in San Fran.
Nan and her husband, George didn't want to find out the gender of their baby and they nicknamed him/her "Baby Bean." After one quick chat with Blair, my creative juices were flowing! This Baby Bean themed shower was yellow, green and grey and included lots of fun details!
This event box included many fun details:
These adorable cupcake toppers featured the "baby bean" logo.
Guests played Baby "Bean" Go (bingo) when Nan opened her gifts. They filled out these bingo cards with what they thought she might open as gifts and then it became a fun game during the gift opening.
The bamboo silverware wraps included yellow and white polka-dot napkins.
The grey striped straws were adorned with "baby bean" straw flags.
This "Spill the Beans" game felt game board was another personalized touch. Since Nan and George weren't going to know the baby's gender, they played an old wives' tales game. The game included ten questions for Nan to answer and based on her response, the guests kept tally on whether that meant she was having a boy or a girl. The velcro yellow and green beans were used to keep tally.
The yellow, green and grey paper chain garland was a perfect decor addition.
These food labels matched the decor of the party and were used to identify the food served at the party but they could also be the perfect name cards for a seated affair.
As party favors, we created burlap bean bags that were full of dried beans
and adorned with a bean dip recipe.
