Storybook Baby Shower

Once upon a time...

Stephanie and Caroline decided to throw a co-ed baby shower for their sister and daughter Jenny and her husband, Mike. They had already decided on a Storybook Baby Shower, where guests could bring their favorite childhood storybook for Baby Orr. See this adorable invitation that served as inspiration for this fun "not too girly" baby girl sips and snacks shower.

We had a blast designing the details for this one-of-a-kind shower.

We wanted the storybooks to play a key role in the decor. Stephanie, Caroline and I brainstormed book ideas for the menu cards.

These extra large food signs included an attached wooden clothespin so that they could easily clip onto the food platters.

Stephanie and Caroline wanted the favors to be dog themed since dog Bella will be the big sister in December. Happy Everything made this custom favor sign with Clifford the Big Red Dog and also created the favor tags that were tied onto the adorable dog ornament favors.

The water bottle labels featured the event logo of hearts, stitching and "Baby Orr."

The "Once Upon A Time" banner was circular and included hearts and a type writer font to match the invitation.

The scalloped cupcake toppers and the straw flags also included the party's logo and featured a typed print that gave the illusion of a book.

Thanks to Jenny for sharing pics from the fantastic shower in North Carolina the last weekend in October. Doesn't the food look yummy?

Caleb's Two! Two! Train Birthday Party!

Here's another fun party last weekend where Happy Everything Events had the honor of designing the party decor. Mommy Sheila reached out via etsy. She wanted a train theme birthday party for her son, Caleb who was turning two. We jumped at the chance to design this red, blue and kraft party for a special little boy and are thrilled to now be offering this in our etsy store.

The cupcake toppers featured the train logo and two! two! instead of choo! choo!

The food labels were left blank so Sheila could write in the menu items for the party.

The pennant banner featured trains on either end.

Bamboo utensils were wrapped in red napkins and sealed with a silverware wrap that displayed the party's logo.

Red striped straws were made personalized by the straw flags.

Thanks, Sheila for sending me pics from the party that was last Saturday in Pennsylvania.

It's Fall, Y'all!

This past weekend, Happy Everything Events' party boxes made their way to various parties in four different states. Amanda, from Virginia, hosted an "It's Fall, Y'all" party for friends. This fun fall-themed party featured stripes and modern prints in orange, yellow and grey.

Amanda's Party Box included:

Silverware wraps with orange and grey napkins, featuring the "It's Fall, Y'all" logo; A paper chain garland in orange and grey modern prints.

These birch tree paper straws held orange striped flags boasting the "It's Fall, Y'all" logo.

Because Amanda knew what her menu was, we printed the food labels in advance. (And my taste buds were salivating reading how tasty her menu was!)

This small "fall" pennant banner served as the centerpiece between two pumpkins. (You can also use it as a cake topper, too).

The round, modern cupcake toppers were perfect for her mini bundt cakes but they could be great on cupcakes, muffins and more!

"It's Fall, Y'all" pennant banner displayed several modern patterns in orange and grey.

The garland wreath was the guests' first impression.

Thanks, Amanda for sharing the below pictures from your party on Sunday! We love the chevron table runner, hand-painted grey and yellow striped crate and the use of pumpkins and gourds! And the menu was so perfect for a fall day in Virginia.
